Such an amazing experience every time I work with this studio. I feel so well taken care of and feel they always have my interests at heart. They make this work playful, fun, and creative.
Portland is truly fortunate to have such an outstanding studio.

I am a National Geographic Explorer and spend most of my time around animals bigger than me in remote places. It was less scary to swim with hungry bull sharks than to face my fear of having a 'nice, professional' picture taken. But I have reached a point in my career when I need a professional picture on hand to replace the ancient blurry iPhone stand-ins I've been getting by with. And WOW, did I get lucky with Andy Batt, Therese Gietler and their super pro studio gang. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt comfortable, even though I was sputtering nervously about what was to come. They brought in a stylist for the big event. It turns out it is also less scary for me to put on a bunny suit and walk into a radioactive zone than to have my makeup and hair done. Yep. I've got issues. But this stylist they contracted, she was a TOTAL rock star in every way, putting me at ease and making me look awesome. I was a nervous nelly pain in the ass when I walked into their studios, guys. I'm not proud of this. This camera phobia thing is absurd. But somehow, despite being a difficult subject, Andy tricked me into looking completely natural, smart, and, well, like the goddam National Geographic Explorer that I am. I have never liked a picture of myself as well as I Iike the one they took of me. It was actually difficult to choose because there were many good ones! I’m so happy and relieved to have a picture I can share unabashedly among the more professional lot. Thanks again for putting up with my extreme picture phobia weirdness, for your professionalism, generosity and for sharing your brilliance with me. I am better because of you and my work will be able to advance thanks to your support. I am so lucky.
