The food was way overpriced here, we didn't get rice with any of our entrees we had to order it on the side for $4 for a ice cream scoop worth. I have eaten a lot of Cambodian food and this is more fusion than anything. We spent $150 for 7 people, and then we walked up the street to the food carts because we were still hungry after this huge disappointment. Go to the other Cambodian restaurant in North Portland, you will be glad you did we spent $40 for 5 people and had more than enough to eat.

Really helpful service for those unfamiliar with Cambodian foods. Had the 'cheeky buns', chicken, and a sandwich. All were amazing. Will definitely come again.

Love Sok Sab Bai! Haven't had Cambodian food since I left Cambodia in 2008. Helpful staff, not-intimidating menu, and delicious food. I didn't get to experience their food cart, but I recommend the bricks and mortar location to everyone. The menu is a great balance of identifiable classic's (Nyno's chicken wings) and adventurous ethnic Cambodian bite's for the more curious palates. I love the Khmer Sausage and Ox Tail Soup (a hangover or sick go-to). I'd love to hear some hip-hop or Khmer pop for music, otherwise, grab your friends and request the room in the back, and let the sinfully delicious flavors work their magic.

Sok Sab Bai was my introduction to Cambodian food. It took the place of a Baru Sushi in the house next to St. Jack. We ordered pork egg rolls with "da sauce" (their house-made hot sauce), which were crisp and fresh. This was the highlight of our meal. I also ordered red curry noodles, which reminded me vaguely of pho. The flavors weren't familiar, but grew on me as finished the bowl. Not too spicy, but they have a terrific spice cart if you want to add fire to your food. This place has promise and I hope to see more people in the future!
