First time to enjoy this delicious spot! We opted for breakfast and were not disappointed -- country fried steak with gravy, Michelbook omelette, cinnamon roll french toast special, and their amazing homemade Texas toast. Super cozy and fun place for breakfast or lunch, right off 3rd Street!

Breaks my heart to leave this review. Pro-tip: when the scatterbrained waitress asks you if it's okay that she accidentally ordered you sausage links instead of patties, do not say it's okay. Make them make you the patties. My spouse and I have been regular customers for years and have never had any issues, we love Wildwood so much that we decided to go treat ourselves to breakfast for our 5-year wedding anniversary this morning before we each went to work. Besides the service being sub-par and noticeably declining over the years, the food absolutely ruined my anniversary. My spouse had a lunch entree for breakfast and was fine. A few hours after I got to work, however, I started experiencing the worst stomach cramps of my life and am now fighting for my life on the toilet having had to miss a day of work due to my puking/diarrhea and also cancelling evening anniversary plans. It is clearly not Wildwood's fault that this happened to happen on my anniversary, but I am pissed I'm missing a day of work and pay. Update: I've removed allusion to rumors that are thus far unsubstantiated. However, I do have to respond to the assertion that its unusual for food poisoning to show symptoms within a few hours. No it's not, lol. Symptoms can develop as quickly as within 30 minutes up to 8 hours, it depends on the severity of the foodborne illness/type of bacteria. Unfortunately what I experienced was confirmed to have been food poisoning, I won't be recanting that.

Great local spot for breakfast, We loved our omelets and the french toast. The staff is super helpful and they kept our coffee mugs full. Make time to stop in....it's worth it.

A wonderful breakfast location with traditional American breakfast. Portions are massive. Try anything with their bread/toast. Amazing.

Business Response on Google Apr 8th, 2024
Thank you for your many years of support and presumably good reviews before your experience today. I apologize for not delivering the experience we strived for. We can and will do better. While it is unusual for food poisoning to have an onset within a few hours, we will investigate. We take this seriously and have consistently high scores on health department inspections. Regarding the wage theft accusation, Google has removed several (but not all) reviews from a disgruntled ex-employee. Please send a phone number to: [email protected], and we can set a time to discuss further.
