I had four bids on my kitchen remodel and Ben with BME was not the cheapest, but I was more interested in craftsmanship and experience. Many of today's young carpenter's are cheap because they lack the experience. Ben's 30+ years of experience was demonstrated in his proposal explaining his costs and vision to make my little kitchen project something I would be proud of for years to come. I was told step by step what was going to happen and when the job would start. I was also told what I needed to do to get ready for his crews to get started. During the construction, my home and family was treated with respect by Ben and his crew. Neatly dressed workers, no loud music or foul language and once they started they were working everyday until the job was complete. My wife loved the finished work and Ben stayed within his quote, finishing a day earlier than planned. Ben was referred to me from a friend of mine where he did 100 feet of sidewalk and 40 feet of driveway that looks extremely beautiful. So I recommend Ben to anyone looking for an experienced carpenter with a flare for detail and professionalism from the "old school". You get what you pay for and Ben's price is a bargain for the craftsmanship you get!
