Came in at 8:30am without an appointment for routine blood work. Only 3 people in line - I was in and out within 20 mins, and everyone was friendly and professional!

Here for an antibody test. Receptionist was very nice, as was the phlebotomist. She had a Russian accent and was very conversational.

The receptionist lady made me uncomfortable. Maybe due to masks I was reading her body language wrong but I certainly wasn't hearing her wrong.

When I arrived, the older receptionist lady was super hostile and grumpy. She was basically yelling at me and other customers immediately upon walking in, with nothing to prompt her attitude. When I walked in, I went straight over to the receptionist desk. Before I could even say anything, she snaps, Check in over there and points to the little kiosk thats not even close to the door. As I was waiting, I asked if I could grab one of the cups sitting by the receptionist desk for water, to be polite and since were in the time of COVID. Again she snaps Thats what theyre there for. Okay?? I had an appointment for a UA drug screen for nursing school at 10 am, and checked in right on time. After waiting for 30 minutes, while other guests were being taken back before me, I went up to the receptionist and asked where I was at in the queue. She said she didnt know. I asked how long it might be. She said she couldnt say, but that it could be hours. There was nothing in my confirmation emails about needing to wait hours when I had an exact appointment time scheduled. After an hour of waiting, I went back up to the receptionist and asked what was taking so long and why people who arrived much later than me were being taken back first. She said that all blood draws had to go before UAs, even if they arrived later. They finally took me back at 11:30, after an hour and a half of waiting. Other customers with UA appointments were getting angry, and some just left. During the time I was waiting, the receptionist turned away multiple customers that came in thinking it was walk-in only due to inaccurate information on the LabCorp website. Another person was turned away because LabCorp lost their blood draw paperwork that her clinic had sent over twice. The queue system is just horrible. They prioritize blood draws over UAs, so if you have a UA appointment youre completely overlooked. They say its appointment only, yet having an appointment makes absolutely no difference. I will say that the Russian receptionist (who also does blood draws and UAs I guess?) was nice and conversational once I was called back, but it honestly felt like she was just trying to make up for me having such a horrible experience.
