Everywhere in the news and online articles there are headlines and conflicting stories about the job market. There are so many stories about people losing their jobs, and on the opposite spectrum there are companies and people who are trying to find workers. There are even more stories of individuals who are willing to work but are not getting hired. The contradicting stories are endless and confusing at the same time. What is really going on in the current job market.
Through all this confusion I met Steve. Not only did he help me make an industry change and secure my new position and provide true and genuine guidance on my journey as I transition. He showed true care and empathy to my struggles and helped me get better one step at a time. From showing how to improve not only main items like my resume, and how to talk and answer questions. He showed me how to improve myself as a person overall. Showing me the true strength in listening and the power in 1%. To get better 1% everyday will help me be successful in more than my career. I can be a better friend, husband, co-worker, leader, son and so much more in this world. My job title is not what defines me and that there is always room to get better.
The greatest recommendation I can give about Steve is he shares in Your success and happiness. I felt the trust and teamwork from the 1st call. He always had my best vision and highlighted my strengths and strengthened my weakness to become my strengths.
He is a diamond in the rough and truly a game changer.

At the end of 2020 I took the next step in my career evolution and began the process Id used
previously for finding a new job using Linkedin and Indeed to apply for jobs I deemed a match.
While doing this, I was fortunate to speak with a Recruiter about a position she posted, but we
agreed wasnt a good fit. I asked if she knew of a good career coach, as it became clearer that
what had worked in the past, wasnt going to get me where I wanted to go. She referred me to
Notus Human Capital.
I was pleasantly surprised to find my coach, Rhett, and his teams focus wasnt solely to help
me find a job, but also a better person. What does that have to do with getting a job you ask?
Actually . . . a lot. It makes you more marketable and more attractive to a broader array of
potential employers. The level of interest, involvement and commitment Rhett showed was
beyond anything Id experienced previously, in any capacity in my career.
The job search and personal/professional development process and structure was very well
outlined, with accountability and expectations. The principles and concepts Rhett created are
unique and extremely effective even in getting me connected to key decision-makers across a
variety of industries ones Im certain I couldnt have made on my own.
In the end, I not only landed my dream job but also learned how to strengthen personal and
professional relationships (a skill that will pay dividends over and over). Working with Notus
