Bellvue owner has retired and closed the store.  The good news is that its technician Chris, now able to be called Richard, is alive and has his own repair business:  541 760-3527.  Call first.  Business called Plastech IT  is located 5121 Hout Street Corvallis  (off Airport Road) Richard is sometimes out on a call and its not open.  But Chris/Richard is same knowledgable smart person as when he worked at Bellvue.  He doesn't sell computers either.  So no worries there.

I called about frustrating issue with my network adapter and the support person helped me fix it over the phone quickly and professionally, would definitely consult with again!

I don't normally post reviews, but in this case I would feel guilty not giving these guys something in return for their honesty in dealing with me. I had spilled some liquid on my computer, which then went dead about 5 minutes later. I figured it was probably totaled, but I decided to roll the dice and pay the 75 dollars to have it diagnosed. Their initial repair estimate was 450, which was a little higher than I felt comfortable paying to save a 2 year old computer, but I told them to go ahead with it anyway. They finished the job sooner than expected, and only ended up charging me 364 dollars, and included in that price the 75 dollar diagnostic fee, which I definitely wasn't expecting. I had already agreed to pay 450, so they easily could have gotten away with charging me the full 525, but the final bill was 161 dollars less. Going into it I was expecting to get grifted a little, since I know how these places usually are, but I guess this place is just more honest than most.
