Couldnt get anyone to answet the front door after speaking with someone on the phone who said the bank took walkins for opening new checking accounts. They've lost my business

Probably changing banks in 2022. Tired of the inconsistencies with Umpqua. I've been to the branch office on 20th twice during business hours and it's been closed. Once there was no notice as to why it was closed. Wasted a significant part of my day having to rush to another branch during a lunch break. Today I tried to call that branch to talk to a rep, during business hours, and I get sent to a looping queue. I understand COVID has impacted many businesses, but these issues are easily rectified and there is no excuse. If I treated my clients this way, they wouldn't be my clients for very long. I'm giving two stars for the staffers, they are always nice and helpful.

This branch was closed during its advertised business hours. There was a sign outside saying it would be closed approximately for another week. I had to rush across town to find the next closest bank, but ended up at some commercial banking center/office that was also closed and obviously not a retail bank.

Michael at the Digital Store in Portland is Amazing, Hands Down The BEST customer service EVER. He deserves a raise and two weeks paid vacation!
