Almost every appliance in our home has failed this year, and the average repair time was 3-4 months. Now, after ice storms, our heat went out. The company refused to expedite a repair until we threatened to send them a hotel bill, at which point they said fine and got someone out so we didn't freeze in our sleep. The realtor then got aggressive on the phone saying "I expect you guys to make yourselves available as I have done for you, we will not cover a hotel room" as if they are not responsible for maintaining their own property. They are clearly in violation of Oregon law with this unresonable repair time and still treat us like garbage. Someone should audit this company.

Never called me back after inquiring about a contractor that I painted for. On 1 of ascends rental properties. I finally got ahold of the contractor and he told me that I threatened ascend. I only asked for a number and the contractor still has not paid me. And said he never will

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Never got the opportunity to rent from these guys, and I'm glad I didn't. We applied for a property right next to where our best friends live, next door, actually. We knew the owner of the home, and he went through these guys for the rental.
So we applied, and waited. Waited another day, and then called the company. Went to voicemail, and then my wife had to call multiple times before being put through to someone. They had let us know they thought their website was broken, so they were not getting applications. First red flag - if you're a professional company renting to people, your source of leads should probably work.
Took them another day to run our application. As I was expecting, I received the hard inquiry on my credit and the report they pulled - this will mean something in a moment. So we qualified, and they called us to let us know we were approved, but needed our last two years rental history and the 'owner' wanted to call for references. Also to be expected.
Little did they know, we communicate with our existing landlords, as well as our previous. We let them both know to expect a call from these folks. We then waited - only for our representative to say she needed to hear back by 5pm from our references. Well, checked in with the references, and sure enough they received no phone call. 6:30pm rolls around, and they text us to let us know they could not verify and they were proceeding with another application.
So let that sink in. They never actually called our references, pulled our credit with a hard inquiry, and then passed on the application. At that point we were confused and angry, but let it go.
Only to find out that this weekend, the new tenants for that property moved in. These people had zero intention of renting to us, strung us along, pulled our credit, and then ghosted us after multiple phone calls asking for an explanation.
Avoid at all costs, as a landlord or a renter. These folks have their own agenda, do not communicate, they are not transparent, and thank God for me having a great relationship with my current landlord I'm now not having to find a new place in a panic.

I have lived in a rental by this property for over two years now and the experience continues to be unsavory. From first move in the place was not cleaned at all (think boogers on the wall) and we had difficulty getting the property manager to get a cleaner and ensure the place was up to move in standards. The manager has since changed but for even worse. The current Lynette not only dislikes having to do her job but also takes it upon herself to ensure tenants know of her distain. Every conversation with this woman has left my household wondering what weve done to deserve such rude behavior. When asking how she was during a phone call for a maintenance request she responded well its bad now that youre calling. I understand this could be a stressful job but my household is not one to bother often, and regardless this level of unprofessionalism is completely uncalled for.
