I go there a lot often. Has a Starbucks and Postal Service. Too bad there going Poor in Business and they might End up Going Out of Business and Closing Down. That Bales will soon close and they should try to keep it Open and do major remodeling and turn it into a Safeway or QFC. After 40 Years of Business of Bales Thirftway. If it’s Closed the Post Office and Starbucks would get Replaced.

This store has gone downhill. Poor service and they need more checkers OR put in some self service checkout lines. Also a poor selection of products. The red potato bin was nearly empty save for a few discards and I could not find any Romano, or Asiago or parmesean cheese wedges.The Walmart on Murray has better service, BETTER PRICES and they have easy to use self check lanes, plus they are constantly restocking products. And what happened to the garden center that used to be outside ??? The store also feels dirty. After being a customer for 40 years today was my last trip to Bales.

Dropped it to one stars. Meat is always spoiled and past due date, vegetables grow slime, fruit growing fur, and overall very overpriced.
