Bright Start Early Education

Have witnessed staff being abusive to children. My child has gotten hurt while in attendance. They are also very unclean. Would not recommend this place. This daycare should be closed.

I had my child enrolled at Bright Start in Norman, OK for some time until I started seeing staff screaming at my child as well as other children. This caused me to take a day and sit outside of the center and observe the staff. I witnessed staff pulling not only my child as well as other children up by their arms, staff congregating out side smoking within eye sight of the children, arguing outside of the building within eye sight of the children, sitting at the play ground on their cell phones while "watching" the kids on the play ground, and all in all was rude towards the parents. Needless to say my child does not attend there any more AND I WOULD SUGGEST THAT NO PARENT WHO WANTS A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR THEIR CHILDREN USE BRIGHTSTART.

My nephew comes here as I'm in charge of bringing him here and I've noticed that he comes out of the place more happier, and calmer than any other place he's been to. He also learns so many new things from being there so it's not just a simple daycare, they teach kids the early learning basics. If I had to say how the staff treat the kids from what I have witnessed I'd say that it's a professional atmosphere and the children are certainly loved and nurtured when they're in there. I've talked to the staff a few times, just routinely checking up on how my nephew is doing and the staff talked to me in a very friendly manner, and their actions towards the children are very caring just like any day care would be. I would definitely recommend it. Plus, any concerns about the way they are doing their work can be addressed personally, and they'll deal with it like professionals.
