It is the most basic, pretty run down hotel you can imagine. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything going on outside. The only plusses are the location and price.

We arrived in Sandusky earlier than expected we were in town for a softball tournament I didn't feel well so I figured it was worth a try to see if I could do an early check in... the lady at the front desk did know it was super early and she knew I wasn't feeling well so she checked a room and allowed the check in.. after checking in we were welcomed by all staff we walked by. The hotel I believe is under new ownership but you can definitely tell how happy their staff is. During our stay updates were being made and you could see they actually cared about the place. Also the pool was nice and clean. We stayed there yrs ago and it was horrible but figured we would give it another shot since we seen under new ownership... I hope they remain reasonable. We will def be back!
