The installation process was well organized a few years ago. However, I don't enjoy my generator because several of the Smart Modules installed to manage power outages have failed within a couple years, causing the air conditioner connected to the modules to fail. The load shedding is causing more issues than I have ever experienced with actual power outages. Spent thousands and now have to live without A/C until their service team can squeeze me in (6 days later). The joke is on me for trying to be prepared. As the owner indicated below, they did offer service recovery after I spoke with their call center Thursday early evening, an employee Thursday night that was of no help and then the "newer employee" Friday morning who slotted me into a service time for mid next week. I was short tempered with the third interaction to fix my nonfunctioning A/C for need of a $135 generator system part and at that point the issue got escalated after "I hung up on them." I have chosen to air my experience publicly because there are good people at this company, but there are some issues too. The main point of this entire review is to get people to realize that having a generator can cause issues that you hadn't considered. If I had it to do over again, I would not install one. Service calls for malfunctioning wifi, two service calls for nonfunctioning Smart modules and yearly battery/oil maintenance over a few year period and maybe a couple hours of power outage during that time don't add up for me. I was hoping for some peace of mind. There is a hassle factor that needs to be factored into the generator equation.

We just had our whole house generator installed today by Generator One. We had 4 of the nicest most polite young men here doing the job and they were GREAT. I would highly recommend this company to everyone and hope everyone is as lucky as us with the crew we had. Joe and Tomi Portale.
