    1)- Overcharged for an unneccesary diagnostic test performed after car's issue (occasional squealing/screeching sound when brakes applied) was clearly explained to advisors. I was told, that because I didn't request new brake pads (and rotors) that a diagnosis was needed. I asked if anything else would create the screeching when brakes are applied, the reply was, "No." (the difference in overcharge was refunded). 3)- Screeching was heard when brakes applied 2 hours after picking car up from having new rear brake pads and rotors installed. When I returned to shop it was just closing; I scheduled an online appointment. 4)-Online scheduling: (a) It scheduled car for oil change dispite the fact that description stated screeching sound heard when brakes applied. That oil change would have been another unneccesay cost. (b): I opted to wait while car was being serviced, but when I arrived to appointment I was informed that car wouldn't be serviced that soon (I rescheduled for later in the week, still opting to wait while car being serviced). 4)- After waiting 3 hours, I was informed that car had not been looked at (why did it take so long to get this information?) and was offered and accepted a ride home. Almost 3 hours later I had not heard from my advisor, so I callled for status update. I was informed that car was ready (why had I not been notified?). I was offered and accepted shuttle service back to shop. More than 2 hours later I called to check on how much longer it would be until pick up (it was getting close to closing and I wanted my car before next business day). I did finally make it back (at something to 6pm, a few minutes before closing), the driver was apologetic for circumstances. I am hoping this is an solated incident. Now I am questioning if I should return to Dave Gill for future services? Wondering if I have been overcharged in the past? ADDENDUM: Before leaving the shop I was able to speak with the advisor that had been assigned to me several times before. He explained what was possibly happening with brakes and even added drawings. I appreciated his time and effort.

    I dropped my car off on Tuesday,6/20/23 at 3:45pm for my scheduled 4:45pm appointment. On Wednesday, 6/24/23 at 12pm, I never received an update so I called and tried to speak to the advisor that assisted on Tuesday. I was told she was in a meeting but should be out at 1pm. After not receiving a telephone call back at 3:30pm, I drove up to Dave Gill to get a status. The advisor told me she didn't check her messages but would go check on my vehicle. She stated that someone asked her about my vehicle early that morning but that was it. Tuesday, she ran a diagnostic and said that I possibly needed a new module but would confirm. Wednesday all they day was keep my car all day and started it,, turned it off, started it, turned it off and nothing more. I was asked did I want them to keep my vehicle one extra day and after keeping my car and not do anything with it, I said NO unless you give me a loaner. I was told I had to pay for a loaner as when I said give me my vehicle.
