    DONT GO TO THE CLOSEOUT. Check online their prices are still higher in store than on website. No wonder they are going out of business. what a bunch of losers

    Clearly calling a customer care number is not enough now a days and as much as I don’t want to create this post I am. My fiancé and I went into Ashley HomeStore/ Ashley HomeStore to buy a few things for the house to make it more homey. First off almost no one talked to us besides our sales man Kevin which he was absolutely amazing. Asked the correct questions, took an interest in what we wanted and just did an amazing job overall. We left happy, our FIRST shipment comes and we receive half of our order due to whoever loaded our entertainment system damaged it and left it in the truck. Which I am not sure why you would hire people who would load damaged furniture or why there isn’t some level of quality control in that area. So our SECOND go round with it being delivered, I received an email and text to confirm delivery. We had to take time out of our schedules (aka work) to ensure one of us was there for this delivery. The day of NO ONE COMES, it turns out our item was in back order and we were not contacted about the cancellation for our order. How inconsiderate can a company be not to notify it’s customers they didn’t need to take time away from work for the delivery!? Now let’s go to the THIRD time the truck comes, the people put together the entertainment stand. Sounds smooth and effortless right? Well the three people they sent to represent their company left our house smelling like WEED! 😡 This happened on the 9th, then on 11th I received an email to fill out a survey. I filled that bad boy out and did not receive a call back so on the 20th I called in and spoke to someone who informed me they do not receive those surveys, (THEN WHY SEND THEM?). She let me know they are contracting the people which really means nothing to me at this point, these people who walked into my home are supposed to represent your company. On the 20th she told me someone would give me a call in 24-48 hours. NO ONE CALLED ME. So today on my lunch today the 25th (which by the way it takes at least 25-35 minutes to get on the phone with these people). I called in and talked to talk to someone I ended up on the phone with the most RUDE person named Emily. She explained whoever was working on my issue was busy and could not come to the phone, and it looked like she was still working on this issue. Which I feel like if you tell someone 24-48 hours you will get back and you don’t even get back with an update letting me know you are working on it would have been enough for me. This Emily I talked to had a horrible attitude and should not be working in customer relations. She said to me that since it was delivered in the 9th and I didn’t call till the 20th there was no one to pin point it on “their people”, well I filled out a survey on the 11th and NO ONE got back to me. She even asked me with an attitude what kind of resolution I wanted to receive with an attitude. As a first time furniture buyer, this will be my last order with this company and I will always share my opinion about what has happened with anyone who even mentions buying furniture in general.

    After a horrible customer service and drama from Mattress by appointment. We ended up at Ashley furniture. Where as soon as we walked in we was greeted by Michael. He asked what we was after. We told him then told him the experience we just had with mattress by appointment. Not only did Michael go above and beyond. So did his manger unfortunately I can’t remember his name. I hate that they lost there lease and that store is closing. Cause we absolutely would be going back. Not only did they go above and beyond. We was able to leave with our furniture on the spot with so short notice. I want to also thank Mattress by appointment for so horrible experience with that we was able to go elsewhere for a absolutely amazing great experience. Please go to Ashley and talk to the guys there. Mike and his manger was great.

    I am waiting for a delivery for the fourth piece to our sectional couch. We purchased it at the end of February with cash, waited two weeks for delivery only to find out that one of the four pieces was in fact a wrong match. Fine, I can understand that, the second delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday but then I received notification that they switched it to the next Tuesday. I called customer service and was told that because the delivery associates left the wrong piece at my house ( which was intentional on their part as one mentioned we will get faster service) that they would not accept this wrong piece back therefore I would have to wait until April 9th now! Really?!? How is this any of our fault? I’m furious about this and baffled about why a delivery has taken so long to complete. Of many reviews I have read about Ashley Furniture, there is grievance upon grievance with their delivery service. It’s not just this location but all over the country. Ashley Furniture, you have an issue that needs to be resolved right away. I can not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!
