Ive worked there for several months! I resigned! The problems with the community are overlooked by management. No one in the facility is held responsible for there actions. I was there 90 days before anyone showed me the safety functions of the building. The staff that is there caring for the residents is mostly through an outside source. The management of the building hardly ever leaves the office. So many things wrong with the facility. But they have plenty of excuses. Gave my resignation and was not allowed to work my time out.

I can't thank Brighton Gardens of Winston Salem enough for the care the staff gave to my mom. I made a promise to myself I would not put my mom in a nursing home, but after my dad had a stroke and mom was getting worse with her dementia, I knew it was time to start looking. The first facility let us down after a year and a half but I was so glad to find Brighton Gardens. Mom spent the last two years of her life there and they were great. COVID brought some challenges but they handled everything incredibly well. I will miss them.

I work there shortly as a PCA , I witness how horrible the Staffs speaks to the Elderly living there ! I was asked not to come back because , one day there was NO Med Tech from 2:30pm til 8:30 pm ! A Client that I had become crazy about , well Her Daughter was looking for Her Mother's Meds ! I simply stated... I hadn't seen A Med Tech ! Other Clients started coming out of Their rooms looking for Their meds ! I was asked by admin. WHY would I tell a Family I hadn't seen a tech Well I hadn't ! I would never allow a Family member or Anyone to go to Brighton Gardens in Winston Salem NC !! IF You love Your Family...pick another Facility...at least 2 died in a short time ! One was giving liquids...instead of Thickening...Sad to live You last days ... being treat horrible...
