As rude and un professional as possible. Being new to the area, I called and wound up speaking with Gene Robbins regarding general liability insurance somewhere during the conversation Gene asked me about my equipment. I simply stated that I was calling for general liability and had already spoken with someone about the equipment insurance, as I was told by the equipment dealer that I needed to go thru 2 different places for it. Genes response was just go with the other company. Realizing that he may either be having a bad day or took what I had said the wrong way, I immediately apologized for any misunderstanding and clarified my position and told him that I was unaware that his agency was able to write both policies. he appeared to be receptive and understand and he completed taking all my information and said that it would take a day to get back the quote. 2 business days later I called to follow up and he told me that he threw my info away, my response was excuse me? what happened to getting the quote? his response was for me to go somewhere else. I told him "I dont understand whats going on here, or why you threw out my info" his response was " i thought you were not interested" Now that is a poor lie and excuse as if I were not interested I would not have given this company my personal info especially my ss# and I would not have made the follow up call. I then said, "so, you dont want to do business" and his response was " we are good" and hung up on me. This person , Gene is the owner and president of the company. Either he was having a very bad week or he is just extremely un professional, rude and arrogant I am very disappointed with how I was treated but am glad that I know what type of business they are before I contracted their services. I will not say that I do not recommend them as I have never got to do business with them, but I will say be prepared for possibly not being treated in a professional manner. Also Gene if you read this, DO BETTER, all I wanted was to use a local insurance broker for my business, I was unsure of the services and coverages you offered and it is YOUR JOB to explain that to people. I honestly have no idea what your issue is.

What a wonderful experience! I've been shopping around for new car and homeowners insurance for a while, needing a better deal than what I currently had. I reached out to Robbins and Associates and was met with nothing but kindness, understanding, and full support of my insurance needs. I was able to secure both new car and homeowners insurance at a much lower rate than what I expected and am so happy with the result! This company really does put a personal touch on each aspect of customer interaction and I'm thrilled with my choice to use them for insurance!
