Yesterday, we booked and paid for a completely updated unit with a nice view for the Easter week at the Rumbling Bald at Lake Lure. A few hours later, we received an email that states that the unit we booked is not available because of renovations. What? Our unit was completely updated, which is why we picked it!!
They offered for us to move to another unit, which had no view (but for the parking lot). Wow! So we decided we would cancel.
Then, we were informed that the refund of our payment would be 7-10 business days. Are you kidding me?
Horrible business practices, very inconvenient, we will never seek to stay here again.
