Mean Bean Espresso Bar

This is my weekly stop while my kids are in dance class. The owner is great, very friendly and accommodating. Great selection of coffee and other drinks as well. The store is very nice and tech savvy. Definitely recommend!!

Nice place, good atmosphere. Good selection on coffee drinks and delicious cakes and pastries. Space for children to enjoy. Really should check them out!

I love going to this coffee shop. It's nice, Quiet and not as pushy to get you in and out the door as quickly as physically possible. Brent and Bobby the owners are nice and charming, while making lattes, gelatos, and blended beverages with ease and confidence. I would fully recommend this place to any looking for a change from their daily grind

My husband and I tried going here a few weeks ago and were puzzled when it was closed unusually early on a normal workday...Now it all makes sense. When we first walked in, we were impressed with what we saw. It’s clean, up to date (iPads mounted at many tables), and aesthetically pleasing. The pleasantness stopped there, however. It was obvious we were unwanted. The two men working were standing around mopping and basically hanging out when we entered and they might as well have let out sighs of annoyance upon sighting us. My husband ordered a frapp and the employee’s response was, “I just put the blender through the wash so I’ll have to go get it out” as if to let us know what a burden we were since they were, after all, closing in 45 minutes. I ordered a mocha and I don’t know that I’ve had a worse drink. Either their mocha tastes strange, or there was none in it, because it tasted like a latte with strange espresso. The frapp was apparently very time consuming and labor intensive, because it took forever to be prepared. We sat at a table for a bit, while the employees mopped and loudly chatted. Towards the end of our time there, one of the employees decided to just stand idly, leaning against a table as if willing us to leave. We left at 8:39 and when we were about a step out the door the employee locked the door behind us. Ensuring that we felt as unwelcome as possible and that they would be closed 21 minutes early. Now we know why they were strangely closed the first time we attempted to visit. Mystery solved. I dumped my drink as soon as I could and my husband and I agreed that we will never be back and based on their performance and apparent annoyance with being open and serving customers, this place won’t be open long.
