Not the company to use for fireplace propane tank. I was told it would not meet the yearly usage requirements. Not good for a propane company.

If Google would let me I would give this company a ZERO star. After placing a call for a refill tank of gas, was placed on hold by a customer service representative 3 times who unfortunately could not speak fluent English. When ask to speak with her Super Vick employee Id 484904 to rush me off the phone mind you this call lasted 42:40 minutes. I am hardly upset with your poor customer service.

I told AmeriGas that I was selling my house and moving out of State. I was informed by the branch on Cliffdale Rd, Fayetteville NC, that they would lock my tank so no one could use it. Then when the new owners moved in they would ask them if they wanted the service. If they said no then they would syphon the propane from the tank and remove the tank from the property and  give me a check for the price of the syphoned propane. Or, If the new owners said that they wanted the service,  then they would unlock the tank and charge them for the propane and send me a check.  Six weeks after selling the house I called them up and was told that the money would be there in a couple of weeks. Two weeks later, now I am told that if they did not syphon  the tank that I have to work it out with the new owners. They are 400 miles from me and have used the propane. Each time I call I get a different story, but all of the resolution representatives say " too bad " and that I should have had the tank emptied to get money back. So then, who lied to me? The first time I got a resolution manager we had a bad connection, he  told me to hang up and he will call back (Still waiting), the second time I finally got to a resolution manager I asked for the phone number to headquarters, he put me on hold, 30 minutes  later I hung up.  If I could give them a zero I would.John
