Worst car rental service currently available. The customer service is massively lacking. Their rental counters are poorly managed and the attendants act as if you are putting them out.

To be specific, my rental was booked for July 28 to July 31st, when i got to the location for pick up, the agent advised me there were no vechiles available, i directly ask the agent what should be my next step, he then advised me to return the following day, i then return the following day, mind you no information was passed unto me regarding any changes in rates etc, i then inquire what will be done to the total that i paid, i was informed to call Avis which i did so many times, eventually i got someone due to the fact that the reservation was done online. I then proceeded to call avis, got a customer service rep. I explained the situation, he then abruptly stated he will do i refund, i informed him that i do not require a refund, i only need an adjustment to my bill for the day i did not have the rental vehicle. He then hung up on me. Eventually i returned the vechile on Saturday the 31st, again, as a customer whenever there is a change in rates etc, this should be related to me so i know what i am paying and not be surprised by this enormous bill of $1158 which was initially $648. This is disturbingly poor service and nonchalant attitude towards me the customer. Changes made to a reservation regarding prices should always be related to the guest. I am totally disappointed and disgusted with what Avis call customer service, and to be honest i will try my utter best not to utilize Avis again. That 1 star is actually for the vechile that i got.
