We stayed for 2 nights with our travel trailer at the end of March so we could see the Smoky Mountains. We're not into the touristy stuff we passed through in pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. This was perfect and so many amazing sights around. The elk are adorable and everywhere! Perfect spot and so scenic even right into the campground. They're doing lots of construction and updates so I'm sure it will be even nicer once completed. Our pull through site is gigantic, the sites are large and you're not packed in like other KOAs.

I had almost decided not to leave a review because of the traumatic experience I had with my family, but had it not been for the great people at KOA, I wouldn't have had made it. I don't want to bring up bad things about my family but I was locked out of the cabin on oxygen and only had two hours left before my battery died. I kind of wondered out in the campground looking for a phone, the amazing people working at KOA kinda noticed I was having a problem. They got me the assistance in the help that I needed, I could not ever thank them enough. So yes if you need a safe environment for your kids and family! kOA is the place to go
