    Several years back we cancelled our Windstream service due to poor service and terrible customer service but with the new fiber Kinetic coming out we figured lets give it a try, what a mistake that was. A salesman came to our home on 3/17/23 friday and discussed the plans with us and cost so we set up a installation at our home on Monday 3/20. The tech showed up on time at 9am told us the service would take about 2-3 hours for install. For about a hour the tech was in his truck texting on his phone after taking a quick look at our pole out front and service box in the back of home, after another 30 mins on his phone he advised us our terminal for install would not work he could not activate it so he would have to go back to the office and speak to engineering for help with the install. another hour and a half passed he came back to our home and said he could not do the install until engineering fixed the problem he would return on tuesday 3/21. On Tuesday we texted the tech at 9am and asked what the status was, he advised us they had to send it to a tech in Arizona to figure out the problem and should hear something by 5pm and if he didnt he would call them and inform us. really a tech in Arizona to fix a problem in Charlotte North Carolina not looking good. we heard nothing back at 5pm no response. Wed 3/22 11am no response again from tech so we text him and also the salesman to find out whats going on with the install to get a update no response from either person all day. Thursday 3/23 nothing no calls no texts no installation and no updates. well as you can see their service still remains terrible so we cancelled our home, our daughters home, 2 rental properties and we told a couple of friends who were also interested in the service and they also cancelled. INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK and read all the reviews!!

    The most disrespectful company I ever done businesses with got hung up on 3 times today. Was told I couldn't speak to management.. usually it take maybe an hour for my service to come back on today it's been over ,three hours and still not on. They lost a customer today

    this is the worst internet provider you can get go somewhere else dont even bother with this company ever! you will get the worst service in history and also all they do to fix the problem is a "reboot" to your router which solves the problem long enough for you to get off the phone with them they dont even have good enough service to simple do internet browsing it cuts out constantly over at least 100+ times a day and i live in the charlotte area where i shouldn't get any service interruptions

    Atrocious, unethical, and miserably managed. The technician they sent out to do the initial install completely trashed my house, and while he was local, it still took 9 months to finally settle my claim after the damage they had done. The internet service was borderline unusable. Consistent, persistent outages, never at the speeds I paid for, and horribly over priced. They will threaten and try to coerce you into keeping their services when you try to disconnect, including making it as difficult as possible. It takes multiple phone calls and untold hours of waiting to try and get this company out of your life. I'm begging you for your own financial, emotional, and physical well being, do NOT use this company for your internet or phone services. Shop it out, there are other, incredibly better solutions. Stay away from Windstream at all costs!

    Wish I could give 0 stars Horrific customer service Business line down for 3 days the third day was the fastest they could get out. Was told the original installer was new and did something wrong by a local area manager. Was promised it get fixed. Its now day 3 Well no one showed up and it was fixed remotely still didnt work. Called in and now it was past business hours 1 min after getting an email saying. It was fixed. Was Sent to technical support Outsourced to another country. Cant under stand what theyre saying. Werent able to fix it. Requested to speak to supervisor and he hung up on me. No call back still without WiFi on a building I run two businesses out of. Loosing thousands a day and they understand your frustration and are very sorry Windstream can kick rocks You better pray your business doesnt depend on these people still without internet now
