Mediocre food at best at Tier 2 restaurant prices. There are several better options within a mile.

The first time my wife & I went they had a venison meatloaf with wild blueberries to dial down the wild game flavor. It was absolutely outstanding. The second time I had the Chilean sea bass.... again phenomenal. The third time I mistakenly chose the filet mignon. I guess I was just in the mood for beef, I tend to cook better steaks at home anyway. I asked for medium rare got medium to medium well. The crab and lobster dip appetizer is quite good. Friendly staff. I'd recommend.

We used a Living Social Voucher and went to Blackthorne Restaurant on 1/28/2015 at 6:00pm for dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and had great ambience. The staff was energetic, happy and very professional - we couldn't have asked for better service, very attentive. Pricing, we felt, was acceptable for the meal. We started out with the Mediterranean Artichoke Dip w/pita breads. It was excellent - very tasty. The presentation of the food was very nice. I had the Roasted Salmon w/saffron Risotto, sautéed Broccoli and red pepper coulis. I am extremely finicky when it comes to seafood - I told the server that I wanted it flaky. The Salmon was cooked to perfection! It was extremely tasty and I ate the whole thing - very unusual for me. The Broccoli was excellent - I wished there could have been a few more spears. My husband had the Bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potatoes and carrots. If there is any downside to our dining experience, he did say that the meatloaf was a bit dry and that it didn't expect the taste that it was. I sampled his and must say he was correct in his assessment. I don't believe I would order that dish in the future. Overall, a very enjoyable evening - I can honestly say we would dine at the Blackthorne Restaurant again!

Very cool rooftop bar, diverse menu selections...the shrimp & grits and filet were delicious. This is definitely a place I will go to often.
