When we were looking for a contractor to do a large remodel of our home, finding someone we could trust was a top priority. Everything came second to finding someone we knew would be honest, do the work correctly, and refuse to cut corners. Hiring Boyd's Custom Building was definitely the right choice. Our house was built in 1905. Because it is such an old house and had been worked on by various people through the years, Benjamin and his team ran into some unforeseen issues. He was always upfront about what he encountered and took the extra time and steps necessary to fix all of the existing problems he came across. Because of this, not only did the house look beautiful when it was finished, but we felt confident that the investment we made would stand the test of time. We recently used Boyd's Custom Building for a complete renovation of our basement (floors, opening walls, bathrooms, new kitchen, etc.). We are thrilled with the results. Benjamin and his team are professional, communicative, and completely transparent with pricing and timelines. We were also thankful for how flexible they were.
