The space and value of morehead is good. Amenities are fine. However the customer service here is not good for anything that is above a minor issue. For example, WiFi at this apartment is a huge issue. Apartment insists on community wifi (75 dollars a month) that is very spotty, has bad connection speeds and is at times down for the entire complex (in a time the whole world works from home) IE: my apartment is at the very end of the building and I get no wifi in my room and certain areas of the apartment. I have been in constant contact with the office/spectrum about getting it fixed and neither party can help assist me. The office tells me to contact spectrum, spectrum tells me to contact the office. Spectrum most recently told me that the office will have to sign off and approve my connection being improved, then why was I told by the office to reach out to spectrum? It has been a constant back and forth battle. Just know if you move here to expect to pay 75 dollars for bad wifi and good cable, and then have to dish out another 50 dollars (which I will be doing this weekend) to get your own private router via Spectrum. Will be moving when my lease is up simply due to this disastrous Internet! Edit: The leasing office promptly addressed the issue and had someone come out to fix my Internet.

Ryan In the leasing office went above and beyond to make sure my application process was easy, and he walked me through every step along the way. Im coming to to Charlotte from out of state, and he made the move much easier for me. There were some speed bumps along the way on my end, and Ryan was patient and continued to make sure I was helped in every aspect! Excited to live at this beautiful complex, and thats all thanks to Ryans help! Also location is PERFECT. Close to everything!!

Extremely disappointed to be writing this review. I lived at Morehead West from 2019-2020. I left for a year, but Im making my way back to Charlotte in less than a month. Morehead West was the first & only place I wanted to apply to. I had such a positive experience living here that I was really excited to come back. Well, that excitement was short lived after dealing with new employees in the leasing office. There is huge lack of communication going on. I had called and spoke to Ryan (June 22nd) about applying to a 1bedroom. After speaking with him, he told me that he would look for my application the next morning to start the process. 1 full week goes by and I heard absolutely nothing. So, I call the office after 7 days of no response. Ryan answers and then goes on to explain to me more information is needed. I provide all the necessary information and send it in the next morning. To no surprise, I did not receive any type of response from him. I called the office numerous times and could never get a response. (I found out the phone number listed online is no longer the number they use.) I sent some emails and finally got a phone call from Ryan, explaining to me a little more information is needed. Once again, I send in all the information and 1 full month after Ive applied (July 26th) I still have received NO ANSWER from Ryan about my application. What a complete waste of my time and my money. Definitely dodged a bullet with this one. I do not want to live somewhere that has no interest in taking care of future residents.
