Joinery

Tonight the Joinery management had a flower bouquet class. This is something I have never done before. Susanne the property manager and Teka the leasing manager who also coordinated the event help me put this BEAUTIFUL arrangement together and I LOVE!!!! Meeting the other residents is so much fun, l enjoy these events they host and I have made so many friends. Joinery is a GREAT place to live, network and make new friends

The layout of the studio I have is 5/5. The space was clearly desgined thoughtfully. I love the pocket doors. It's the best studio layout I've seen in Charlotte. It was way larger than some of the others in the area, and while it's certainly not the biggest studio in town (and I chose to use a projector rather than a TV to save space) its enough space for me. The electric car is awesome. I've already used it several times. The bike room is secure and comes in handy. The price was fair enough, given the location, and they allow longer leases so I was able to sign a longer one and get a better price. These days, rent everywhere is really high, but the Joinery was better than their neighbors and I hope that never changes! The staff are all friendly, attentive, and pleasant. They offer free compost and recycling service. It's not like nothing inconvenient ever happens here, its an apartment complex, so sometimes things go wrong. But I can tell the staff here wants to make it all go right again. When renewals come up, I am 100% resigning my lease for as long as they'll allow me to.

Lived here for 2 years. Initially, did not have any complaints. Great location! I am giving a 1 star as a result of a persistent and, potentially, dangerous issue with the maintenance of the apartment that was not addressed adequately or urgently despite my repeated requests and despite the hazardous condition posed by a leak near an electrical fixture in the ceiling light fixture. I took several videos and sent several e-mails but over a span of 3 months I had to shower with a leaking ceiling shower, where the water I was showering with, was unknown. I have attached a picture. It appears that it looks like mold is growing. I have attempted and will continue to attempt to upload the multiple videos I had took on different occasions. Regrettably, the prolonged exposure to these maintenance issues resulted in minor health concerns, including headaches, while I have patiently awaited a resolution. I met with several people, and at the end I still had to pay to break the lease.

Ive been living here less than 6 weeks and weve had so many issues and disappointments. Our apartment had so many issues and not all of them are even fixed yet including: leaking ceiling (same issue as previous reviews), loose bathtub glass door, broken lights, broken outlets, broken toilet definitely low quality materials these buildings got built. This complex got built 2 years ago and so many issues Oh the elevator has been broken down TWICE and now its been almost 2 weeks broken (since March 28th). While the elevator was down, the stairs were in unsanitary conditions. Management team informs very vaguely, that it makes us feel like they do not care at all. Definitely management team has to level up. This place is not treating their tenants with quality of living. FIX THE ELEVATOR!!
