I loved living in Winkler properties. The leasing staff, the maintenance staff, the cleaning staff, etc are all SO kind. And most of the Winkler properties you get your utilities included in the rent, which is good especially compared to other places in Boone.

Have lived in winkler property for about 2 years now and when I tell you these housekeepers are actually just inspectors. They dont clean, they break rules all the time. I watched a cleaner walk into my roommates bedroom and go through her things. When she returned I mentioned they went into her room. Candy was missing from her candy bowl. Another instance, I was walked in on in my own bedroom at 9am while I was asleep NAKED. I told the cleaner to NOT enter our rooms and to please leave mine. I had to ask her multiple times before she left. Its incredibly violating for a stranger to walk into my bedroom without knocking and without my consent. They shouldnt even be trying to enter our bedrooms. They are strictly supposed to clean the common areas and kitchen. bathrooms ONLY upon request. What if I was changing or naked and not in bed?? Ive called multiple times and no one will answer. Ive left a voicemail expressing how these housekeepers keep violating our privacy. No answer from winkler. If you decline housekeeping they send an inspector. This inspector ALSO went into our bedrooms without consent. Really really uncomfortable situation and winkler wont answer or do anything about it. Weve now gotten another lock for our door so that they dont walk into our bedrooms. EXTREMELY violating and very concerning that winkler wont acknowledge my complaints so Ive taken it to Google reviews because now Im sure theyll call me because this reflects so poorly on this leasing company.

The winkler organization has been nothing but great to me for my past 3 (going on 4) years of residence with them. They are fair and always there to help. Particularly I want to give Tiffany Leonard a shoutout for being truly the MVP. My car was wrongly booted and Tiffany helped me get in touch with the parking agency and get the boot removed for free. I have been dealing with so much lately and I will not forget how far this act of kindness went with me! Thank you so much.

This rental management company is okay at best, but there is a lot better out there.
