Patient beware! You are mistaken if you think you will be examined by a doctor, let alone examined at all! I called and scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound and doctor visit. I then received multiple texts and emails to confirm I had an in person appointment with a physicians assistant, not a doctor. I wasnt too upset about it. On the day I arrived, I went for the ultrasound with a very nice tech. After the ultrasound, I was relocated to an office with a chair and exam table. I was directed to sit in the chair and wait for the nurse. While sitting there, still in the paper shorts from the ultrasound, the nurse came in, asked a few questions and said Id be able to speak to the doctor soon. I explained I was a bit confused as the message said I was seeing a physicians assistant. She corrected herself and said the appointment is a virtual visit with a physicians assistant, not a doctor. A VIRTUAL VISIT! Here I am receiving messages for over a week of an in person visit confirmation expecting to be examined for my issues and tells me its a virtual visit. She then puts a laptop on the exam table! Something felt off as soon as I walked in there. I should have just turned around and walked back out!
