We had Fritz inspect a home that we were interested in buying in Geneva. He was great! My father and uncle are retired union tradesmen. Fritz knows the local codes and historic building practices and, as a professional inspector, was able to notice a few issues with the property that will need to be addressed that the contractors in my family would have probably overlooked. After the inspection, I was happy. He endorsed the house and seemed very knowledgeable. It didn't take long to start having issues. Which is normal in a new house. But when every contractor I have hired to do work has said "Didn't you get this place inspected?" and "The inspector should have caught this you know", I'm starting to think I kinda got taken for my money by this guy.

Gunther HI was exactly what I needed.  Fritz did a great job looking at a very complex inspection and took the time needed to see that nothing was overlooked.  I was going to mention my concerns about the 3 furnaces but he already had noted his recommendations for them.  He worked to my schedule and presented his reports at the conclusion of the survey in a printed report I left the complex with.  I was able to make my offer on the complex immediately following the survey.  Without his help I would have missed an electrical issue outside the building covered by bushes.  The report paid for itself.
