image Saw a doctor for symptoms today. I have asthma and was sick a week or so ago. O2 is toileting at night and when I work. Anytime I lie down, I have to sacrifice my back to elevate my bed or it feels like I'm dorwning in my lungs. I've been doing everything OTC before coming back. I have tried EVERYTHING. He kept telling me the antibiotic wouldn't work as I no longer have the fluid. Iknow that. I'm an asthmatic. It feels like there's junk in my airway. The treatment for that is a steroid. He neglected to see my medical history and treated me like I was dumb. He kept daying he sees it 30 times a day. I also have intense experience with it, after all, I get sick 28 times a year. He ran no testing whatsoever. If he continues to work there, people are going to struggle. A sick person doesn't want to see a condescending jerk.

image horrible place that does not care for people. I used to see Dr. Samaras who never did anything for my symptoms. he said I had allergies and gave me a med which did nothing. I kept getting sicker and sicker and got no care

image The staff and doctors are friendly enough, the problem is actually getting to see any of them. I am writing this as I and my mother have been waiting for 3 hours to see a doctor. 1 and a half hour in the waiting room, saw a nurse for 5 minutes, and do far have waited 1 and half hour in the doctor's office. They either can't follow their schedules they set, or simply have no respect for peoples times. If you can anywhere else, go there first. I would take horribly rude staff with timely service any day.

image I just left the PMC walk in clinic where I was seen by Tim Foley for an upper respiratory infection. Before I left I asked if Popsicles or ice cream was better for soothing a sore throat, as I have heard before that dairy makes sore throats worse and I didn't know if there was any truth to that. He paused and looked at me for a second before pointing to my stomach and saying "neither. Throat lozenges", as if I didn't know that I am severely overweight. Comments like this don't typically bother me this much, because I know I'm fat. I always have been. But Dr. Foley is supposed to be a safe and comforting person to ask those types of questions. He doesn't know that I've been trying to lose weight, he doesn't know that I actively seek out sugar free and healthier options despite the number on the scale. His comment was extremely defeating and humiliating, and wildly inappropriate. The only reason I am giving more than one star is because the receptionist and the nurse were great.
