Hertz Car Rental - Orchard Park - Southwestern Blvd HLE

Was sent here by west herr for a rental when stuck at dealer & was discriminated against. All I had was cash and they did not care for deposit on rental. I asked if my wife could send a picture of my card over my phone and they said they need the physical credit / debit card which I do not carry. When I was leaving they took someones license # and card over the phone for a rental...the rental vehicles are also pretty gross, there shouldnt be cum stains on the back seats of pick up trucks & dog hair and food crumbs everywhere.

When enterprise couldnt/wouldnt fulfill a reservation I made two days previous, these folks stepped up and got me a car in an hour! Great business!

My most recent experience here led me to write this review. At both the pick up and drop off, the employees were rude. I have 3 small children and have to fit 3 car seats in my vehicle. I usually rent a full size SUV as this fits that need no problem. I rented a full size SUV from Hotwire, which states that I will get a 7 passenger SUV which also holds 4 suitcases, Nissan Pathfinder or similar. The vehicle I got was a Mitsubishi Outlander, which by all searches is classified as a compact SUV. While this car did seat 7 technically, there was zero trunk space let alone enough space for 4 suitcases. I also could barely get 3 car seats to fit inside. When I called and asked if there was another vehicle available, I was told that there was not and that this car was in the same class as a Nissan Pathfinder. When I dropped the car off, I again stated how unhappy I was with this car being called a full size SUV and I was told that this is "only a little smaller than a Nissan Pathfinder." I booked and paid for a full size SUV and was given a compact SUV instead. If they truly did not have a full size SUV available, they should have told me instead of giving me a compact SUV and trying to play it off as if that was okay. Apparently Hertz makes up their own vehicle classifications so you are stuck with whatever they give you, no matter what you book.
