Hudson River Plumbing

Dan is unproffessional and unreliable. He did not provide an exact time of arrival and nor could he find our leak. He spent two hours calling our water provider and had them arrive to find the problem. We had provided a couple possible options for problems and he had told us it wasn't possible. The water provider told him it was our water main which was one of our ideas. The water provider says to turn off the water and come back another day to fix it. Dan charges more than $400 for standing around and calling our free water provider to tell us what they told us. He connects our house to our neighbors house for water and he makes their basement flood. He comes back to check it out again and decided to actually look at our pipes, because he didn't bother to begin with. Finds one small 1" pipe leaking. It wasn't our water main. He comes back to replace the small pipe and bleed our boiler. Says everythings fixed. Our heater isn't working even though it's turned on. He charges us more than $1700. Not to mention he littered his empty to-go cups in the house not in the trash can. TLDR; Charged us $1700 for calling a free service, walking around telling us we're wrong, fixing a small 1" pipe and breaking our water heater. Littered in our house. I called Hudson River Plumbing last minute about a leak. I described the problem and asked for an estimated price. He said he would be over in an hour. He arrived promptly. Dan was friendly and professional. He wore a mask and gloves ensuring safetry during the Covid-19 crisis. Dan fixed the leak and charged the estimated price. He cleaned up after he was done. This was my first time using Hudson River Plumbing. I was happy with the work and plan on calling on Hudson River Plumbing for my future plumbing needs. Thanks again Dan!
