What a wonderful hotel! I felt right at home when I arrived. Everyone from the bell men, to the front desk staff, to the sales team was so warm and welcoming. The hotel is also in such a great location. If you want to be in the city, but not in the craziness of times square or midtown, this was perfect. The rooms are HUGE and so luxurious. There's also a trader joes and cvs conveniently located across the street. Very easy to get around the city as well, as there are subways only a few feet away, and rideshare is easily accessible from the hotel's front entrance. Mariano in sales was amazing, and more than accommodating during my stay. This has definitely turned into my go-to hotel when in NY.

I haven't stayed at that many hotels in NYC, but the Dominick is definitely one of the nicer ones in recent memory. Driving from Western NY was pretty easy and I hardly had to drive through Manhattan at all, since the Holland Tunnel is right around the block.Kid friendly hotel. The staff gave our kiddo a stuffed animal upon check-in. A full sized crib and even a diaper genie were provided. The Color Factory (kid friendly museum) is right across the street, which is nice.  There is also a Trader Joe's a stone throw's away and a one Michelin starred restaurant connected to the hotel lobby (Vestry). Most of all I found the hotel to be clean and the service to be excellent. We upgraded to the suite for a nominal fee and the extra room was super useful with our toddler. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed in The Dominick for 2 nights and it was not a great experience at all. Initially booked the Sohi King Room and the views were terrible like nothing compared to what we saw on the pictures on its official website or other travel websites. We upgraded the room to a Sohi Suite and it was better. I think it's important that website depicts the exact description of the room. The valet parking experience was also not good. I wish I had parked anywhere else close to the hotel. Overall, the hotel seemed to be overpriced. I would not stay here again.

We had an unexpected two night stay at the Domnick hotel over the holidays when our plane trip travels were slightly delayed from JFK. We were so impressed with the delightful welcome that was given to our family on Christmas day on our arrival. From the front desk to the concierge to the Front door bellhops this hotel has just got it right. The rooms were so spacious our views were epic, and we felt so at home and comfortable. It is a luxury hotel for sure, and the way in which you feel you are treated adds to the additional sense of luxury travel experiences.
