Honeymooning across the States we booked the Maxwell because of it's terrific central location. We were very impressed to find a modern, understated and stylish hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Karina and the front of house team made us feel incredibly welcome after a long journey and were so helpful with any requests. Perfect for the tourist or business visitors.

Honestly beyond anything I expected, thank you Maxwell team, you know how to spoil your customers and make them feel special and valuable. I was not sure if the Maxwell is the place to spend 4 nights in Manhattan, usually I would go for something close to Time Square, but I thought worth trying something new, this is why I ended in Maxwell hotel. To start with the location on Lexington Avenue was amazing, very accessible to the rest of Manhattan, middle way between Central Park, fifth avenue and time square and you can easily use underground stations to get to all directions in the city as well as the fact that Lexington is full with shops and first class restaurants. Then the excellent service, first night I arrived I got a tiny room on the fifth floor I hardly fit in the bathroom with my size, and I always usually request room on the higher floors and it is part of my profile on Bonvoy, I called front office and requested if the room can be changed. The front desk manager herself (Ms. Monique) came up and took me to check other two options which were not as big, she asked if I can wait until the next day, I said fine. The next day for my biggest surprise I was upgraded to a suite on the 17 floor, with two rooms and a huge terrace where you can see the skyline of the city. I am so grateful because they really made my stay very very special, I enjoyed every minute of my stay and the 4 days in Manhattan ended to be a great memory I will not forget, because of the customer friendly approach of Monique and the rest of the staff at the Maxwell Hotel. Having my coffee every morning with the sunset was just amazing. A huge thank you for all of you and wishing you all the best. The hotel is the place to be for anybody visiting Manhattan.

The Maxwell exceeded all my exception. From the moment the doorman opened the glass doors, we was cheerfully greeted. The front desk rep welcomed us with a huge smile and made our checkin process smooth. Our bags were taken upstairs and upon entering our room we was amazed at the beautiful decor and how well thought out the staff was in having a well stock supply of toiletries and refreshments. We spent the day sightseeing and returned later that to unwind at the bustling bar. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. Once we headed upstairs to retire after a hectic busy day we were fast asleep in The Maxwell comfy bed. We woke up feeling refreshed and achefree. Once we was ready we went downstairs to the dining area for our complimentary breakfast. We was seated and catered to. Breakfast was plated beautifully and tasted great. Our checkout process was great and all the while was thinking of when we would return. You must experience The Maxwell at least once in your life, you can thank me later.
