Citibank

I'd give this branch ZERO stars if I could. When opening a basic account they did not disclose the details of the account. Their BIG line is that the details are disclosed in tiny font point 4 writing that if you do not maintain $1500 then you'll be charged $12/mo. Though I am a Citigold member I was not told that my child's account could be householded under my own and then no charges would accrue. When we asked for some of the fees back they refused. The person we used here just speaks party lines and pretends to help, pretends to look into the situation and then does nothing. Stay away from this branch. Please listen: Go to Carroll Gardens Citi branch and speak to Roseanne. She is tops. She uses her position to help the consumer, without which there would be no Citi bank!

A personal banker at this branch persuaded me to open up a new savings account to get a piddly $275 bonus if I left the money there for 60 days. The bonus was supposed to be deposited after another 45 days. Guess what happened? The bonus was never deposited. The personal banker left. And this branch has no recollection of any special offer. This is how they treat someone who has had a Citibank account for decades.

The reviewer who posted that a banker lured him into signing up for a checking/savings account and $275 wasn't a singular event! The banker also told me the same thing, and now no one acknowledges it, and this center never takes any phone calls! It's a dishonest business.
