DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! Our washer does not work so we called them because New Hyde Park is near where we live. We were told the technician wouldn't be available for another month (apparently we can't wait that long), but one of the affiliated services would be available in a couple of days, so we went ahead and made an appointment and they said they will call us before the appointment to confirm the exact time during the day. We provided our address and credit card info and our credit card was charged for around $250 right away. The day before the appointment, since nobody called us to confirm anything, we called them again trying to confirm the time, and we were given another number by the phone representative saying this would be the right number to call for the affiliated service. So we called this new number and it turned out to be a scam - the person who answered the phone was trying to sell us medical devices ???!!! HELLO???!!! We hung up and called Sears again and this time were told that they don't see any appointment on the record for us. EXCUSE ME???!!! We ended up getting someone local to come and will file fraudulent claim to get our money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. I'm giving it one star because there is no option for 0 stars.
