I have used SOS Cesspool and Drain three times and they're the best. They are affordable, reliable, and professional. I had an issue this very morning and I called them at 8:05 and by 9:00 they were at my property. They take the time to answer any questions and make any recommendations.

I've recommended SOS, easily over 30x to my customers... They've always taken care of their Cesspool or Septic issues(& mine too!) & it's very beneficial to me that I can be completely comfortable recommending them..

I would never recommend these guys. They seemed to want to make the quick easy buck, pumping only the overflow (cesspool) and not to find and uncover the septic tank, which is what takes the solids and needs to be pumped out, otherwise the solids will get into the cesspool (and eventually plug it up, requiring a complete new system to be installed). I dug to find the septic and had them back, only to get moans and groans about digging to uncover its cover. Yes it was very hot and humid, but that's their job that I'm paying them for. Complained about the dinosaur egg size rocks making the digging near impossible, and said they should have brought their back hoe. Hell yeah, why didn't they? 3rd day they did, uncovered and properly pumped ceptic. But while I paid extra for the stack to be raised to ground level for easy access should it have to be done again, they took the shortcut of putting in a short piece of pipe, without the proper gaskets to keep dirt and water infiltration, and buried it 1.5' down, covering it with the old cement cap, and didn't even center it leaving 2" for dirt and water to get in! Turned my back for a moment, and they back filled it! I ended up digging it out again, and bought online the proper riser and gasketed cover, and now its finished right, but I had to finish the job myself. $2,000 down later, its finished. This is their job. They should have offered the options up front to finish the job right. I would have understood the extra costs to do so. I should have been in my house, and only come out to pay them when the job was done. Instead of tarping back the nearby evergreens they complained would scratch them... and instead of digging 5' test holes to find the septic myself!! I'd be glad to update this post with kinder words if they would refund half of what they charged me which was around $1,700! The other $300 that brings up the total to $2,000 was the additional riser I bought myself. Geez... live and learn!
