Bally Total Fitness

Another trouble at 24 hour fitness (ex Bally Total Fitness). Specifically, at the location in Elmhurst Queens NY. A Combat class was scheduled for today at 11:30am. The teacher didn't show up and the schedule was not updated. I have contacted the instructor... it was not a last minute cancellation. This has been happening in different locations. Managers of the clubs are supposed to update the calendar, but THEY DO NOT CARE and over weekends there is no manager at the clubs, at all. I pay $70/month and i want to be compensated. This lack of service is not the first time that happens, I will cancel my membership if the gym does NOT refund me. This is NOT a human mistake; this is lack of respect for members.

Extremely unclean . Equipment works fine but the broken down appearance is enough to kill the energy for any workout . And if you're a hygiene purist , the bathrooms are horrible. They don't even let you cancel when you want.

Terrible customer service. I went in today to start my 7 day trial after signing up online and talking with their staff about the gym over the phone. Never once did anyone mention that I need a NY ID, but today when I came to workout they wouldn't let me because I have an ID from a different state. I've been here for 2 days so I don't have one yet. I'd rather take the subway further away to another gym than go back there. They lost a customer for life.
