My Thai Cafe

I went here last week with the rest of my family... There were about 5 of us in total. I had such high hopes and I read so many great reviews about this place. A lot of the reviews mention the thai pancake.. I had some and I felt like I was eating a sponge soaked in oil it was so vile. We had the mango chicken.. Shrimp pad Thai. One of the Malaysian fried rice. And the green curry. I was not impressed at all. The portion sizes were very decent... The curry was so spicy I could barely eat it even though I told them I only wanted it mild. We had the calamari which was so oily.. It seemed to be a recurring theme that everything was greasy. I was so disappointed most of us left our food. When they came to pick up the plates barely anything was eaten but the wait staff said nothing. I paid even though I honestly did not want to. Do not recommend this place at all

Today was our second time at My Thai. The food is so good. I recommend the satay tofu and the pineapple chicken. My girlfriend loved the sayong seafood. The portions are very generous for the price. Oh and the Thai iced tea is a must. We will come back for sure!
