Mikawa Japanese Fusion

Sushi and sashimi here are of noticeably higher quality than most Japanese restaurants in the US in this price range. I have ordered several times and was never disappointed. Always fresh and delicious with REAL wasabi, which is quite rare in the US. Definitely a neighborhood gem that doesnt get enough attention.

Pretty good sushi for the price. One time they make us wait really long for our food. But otherwise I would give 4 star.

The sushi is very fresh! I remember when this place first opened they had a wonderful special which was just a platter of Uni sushi and sashimi, though unfortunately it does not seem to be on the menu anymore. More recently, I ordered some Uni à la carte and it was absolutely delicious! Depending on what they have you can get either California Uni or Japanese-Imported Uni. Once they served me some Uni which they sourced from Hokkaido and it was some of the best Uni I've had. Let me stop raving over their Uni and talk about the other stuff. All the other fish is fresh and delicious, the sushi rice is good, the miso soup is great! I like the special with choice of 9 sushi, 1 roll, and one side. Had the veggie gyoza as well but wasn't a fan. Overall, the food is great and the price isn't outrageous, a nice spot for sushi in Bay Ridge!

great customer service. the waitress as great memory and remembers most of the people who have come. they offer real Wasabi with the sushi combo entrees and they also give you a little brush for the soysauce!

I ordered two special rolls yesterday cost me about $30, the rolls look like under developed, It is my lunch, and I can't feel full!!
