image Very nice staff across the board.
Clean, quiet warm and cozy I might add.
The train is a few blocks away.
Forget about parking on the street.
Highly recommend if you need to be on that end of town.

image Stayed at this location during the weekend of Easter and it was a relatively good stay. Morning front desk staff was super nice and attentive. Late night staff was informative and semi-friendly. Pretty quiet for the most part until around 7am hit and neighbors would blare their TV.
Upon arrival room was very clean and no bugs or harsh smells. Sheets were not changed every night or every other night which would have been nice to have. Fresh body and hand towels were provided everyday.
Street parking was a hassle (understandably). They partner with the parking garage right next to them which I do NOT recommend leaving your car with them. The valet tried to charge us extra when we tried to get our car and drove the car recklessly in the garage. Its honestly safer to find street parking, in my opinion.
Overall, it was a very good stay,

image Pluses: Very clean and cozy hotel, on quiet block. Sound insulation great, bed is very comfy. Rooms are spacious, well designed colors and furniture.
Minuses: no bottled water for coffee machine in the rooms. Bring your own water. Ice machine is only on 1st floor, take elevator down. TV remote software and channel surfing is 'a challenge'.

image I got off a cruise at Brooklyn cruise terminal and I needed a place to store my bags while I explored Brooklyn Chinatown while waiting for my flight later out of LGA. This is a very nice clean modern looking building not even a block from 8th Ave subway stop. I spoke with the person behind the counter and explained my situation. We came to a mutual agreement on the storage of my luggage for the day while I got to explore Brooklyn Chinatown. They put tags on my bags and gave me the receipt ends and then locked them away. I went out for the entire day came back and got my bags without any hassle. My work laptop was in my luggage and I didn't have any problems. It was perfect for my day out getting food, walking 8th Avenue and then hitting the Korean Spa. From what I saw about the neighborhood and the hotel I would stay here in the future.
Safety: I felt very safe walking and felt that my bags were safe. 8th Ave Subway station is definitely safe during day. I've been at FT Hamilton just a block up late night and I was the only one there. Generally a safe area I'm sure given NYC/Brooklyn standards.
Walkability: Very walkable. 8th Avenue has all sorts of stores and food within super short walk. 8th Ave Subway station is super close, within 2 minute walk.
