Five Borough Home Inspection

I did quite a bit of research to find an inspector and after several bizarre conversations and quotes, was able to connect with Derek. His pricing is reasonable and straightforward. Derek was very responsive and open to all forms of communication (email, phone, text) as well as willing to expedite the inspection date as quickly as possible. Through the entire process, Derek was a great and responsive partner during what can be a very stressful process. He was thorough in his inspection, quick in his report turnaround and very generous with his time and patience in any explanations. I have nothing but respect for hisauthentic, informative, patient and kind approach to his communications and work product. I would highly recommend Derek to anyone looking for a home inspection!

Dereck was wonderful to work with. Very responsive and flexible in scheduling. Very helpful and knowledgeable, communicating major and minor findings throughout the inspection. He even provided us some recommendations on things to look out for with any remodelIng changes we were considering. Would absolutely use again!

We used Derek twice for home inspections. The first time was on a house that was a 'deal'. After looking over the place, Derek found the termite infested main support beam in the basement, and I walked away from what could've been a disaster, breathing a sigh of relief. When our offer was accepted at a place in Bed Stuy, he was our guy. Efficient, punctual, knowledgable and patient, means that we had a great inspection done, and I would be very happy to recommend him. Hopefully we will be in our home soon! Very pleased. Sylvia

Such a great service. I was referred by friend they did not steer me wrong. Not only did he answer all our questions. He gave suggestions on future maintenance that will save us all of money in the future.
