I wish less than 1 star, the customer service who is answering the calls he disrespects ,, he looks like fighting a caller not helping him.

Sterling recently took over Astoria Bank in Brooklyn. I was an Astoria customer for 18 years. Sterling makes everything either uneccessarily over-complicated, or unworkable. For example their online banking website is not Sterling but rather SterlingConnect, which no customers realized ar first. Then they require an "authentication code" from an email or phone call every time u log in. The code is so long you can't remember it by the time you go back to the site, and when you put it in it doesnt work. They have no checking withdrawal forms in the bank. The lines are always super long and they only have one teller working for ten windows. And they have no overdraft protection.
