This place should be shut down. Besides the photos what was wrong with this place: had to ask for toilet paper and towels, garbage didn't have a bag in it, the room smelled like wet dog, the sofabed is a joke, and you couldn't find any employees because they hangout outside.

I never review places, but oh my God lol.If you choose to stay here (WARNING: DON'T) here are a few tips:Cons:- Bring your own garbage can since none in the room- Bring newspaper because it will be better than the blanket they give you for the bed- Bring your own toilet paper since you only get an almost empty roll and no backup- Bring your own towel for the shower. You get one...really small one- Bring an iron. There is a holder for an iron and an ironing board, but no iron.- Lock your doors. No lock on the outside of the building and they gave another group of people keys to my in-laws room when they were already in the room.- Shower barley works and when it does, the faucet only faces the wall unless you hold it in place- Barley any of the outlets work and when they do, make sure your charger is plugged in at all times because it will constantly fall out- A/C works, but whatever setting it's on is what you get. None of the buttons work so don't try to turn it on or off or adjust the temperature. Also, you don't know what the temperature is because the temperature gauge doesn't display.Pros:- There is a small kitchen with random frying pans in it...so I guess that's interesting.

DO NOT STAY HERE. There is no one ever sitting at the front desk. They are either outside or behind the door next to the front desk. The building smells when you get in and the room smells even worse. Nothing was wiped down. There was garbage underneath the couch, in the pull out bed and under the bed. Dishes were still in the dish washer. The pillows had mold on them. Everything felt wet. The screens on the windows had bandaids where there were holes. Went to open the bathroom and the handle fell off. Took out the pull out couch and there were stains all over it. No toliet paper or towels. There was a thin sheet on the bed which I thought was the blanket. I went to the front desk to ask for another one and the man gave me a comforter. So they never finished making my room up. There was dogs barking and people telling at night/ morning. I only stayed because it was a quick trip and I already paid for it. I went to check out on my last day and the office was locked at 10:30am? No worker in sight. I couldn't wait to leave.

We enjoyed our long stay (more than a month) here and would go back, with a few caveats (experience tells me most places would have caveats). Firstly though, Pine Bush does seem to have better/lower nightly, weekly, and monthly rates than most places, although some might say that you get what you pay for. ++Staff were accommodating and friendly, and it really made a difference to our long stay.A cooktop in every room, not just a microwave oven.Centrally located across the road from UAlbany and within easy driving distance of many shops and restaurants.- -There seemed to be a shortage of some supplies, like blankets and chairs, which could be a real challenge. No staff on site outside business hours, unlike at many other places where there's staff 24/7.All in all, we appreciate the hospitality of Pine Bush staff, and hope they keep open and improving.

My son is a college student living here for the academic year. There are several pluses: the bus stops practically on the doorstep eliminating the need for a car to commute to school. The cost was competitive (compared to the other student residences on Washington Ave.) and they allow pets. And wifi and cable are included!Negatives would be the absence of secure mailboxes for students and, for the last few months, the absence of anyone at the front desk. There really should be someone supervising the entryway. The water pressure isn't great, and they kitchenware supplied was less than minimal. Noise from other students has rarely been an issue. However, the place is comfortable, the suites provide ample shelf space for a students books and a generously sized desk, and the staff, when present, are friendly and helpful.
