We've had our solar panels up and working for 9 months now and are 100% happy with Photon Rainbow's product and staff. We began our solar journey with another solar company and fired them after we still had no permit or installation date after 7 months. They were happy to take our money but couldn't seem to communicate much with us after that. That company went out of business last Spring. That said, we chose Photon Rainbow, a new company, to get it right this time solely on the strength of a personal reference from another happy customer.From the outset, our salesperson/project manager Kelly S listened to our past experience, and was clear, upfront, and very interested in communicating well. She answered all our texts promptly, even after the project was finished. This was also because this business has a knowledgable back office that took care of permitting, engineering, an electrical sub (we needed a new electrical panel), installation, and problem-solving our app that monitors everything. I suspect we were somewhat challenging customers because my exacting, design-engineer husband wanted a revision of the initial plan and expected to be on the roof to take photos documenting the installation. They accommodated him with enthusiasm and grace probably because he had good rationale for the changes and they wanted to be certain we were pleased with both the process and the outcome.We waited this long to write a review because we wanted to make sure we were as happy 9 months later as we were when PNM flipped the solar switch. Photon Rainbow Solar Energy Co. gets 5++ stars from this customer.
