Pedigree Grooming & Boarding

I love their new location and my cocker spaniel received the best grooming she has had since she was a puppy! They are very caring and do excellent work! I highly recommend!

They did an ok job of grooming my dog. He looked average as far as the cut. The place inside is very rundown and they dont keep animals separated but rather just have you hand over your dog and they just immediately put it in a large playpen type area with a bunch of other dogs. I had no idea if these other dogs were trained properly or vaccinated and I was worried the whole time that my dog was going to get attacked while I was waiting. If you want a doggy day care its an ok place to go but I dont recommend for grooming, especially if you have a dog that hasnt been socialized much or is a small dog.

I'm happy I found Pedigree to use for dog boarding. My 20lb dog is a social guy, so Pedigree's style of letting the dogs play together all day is perfect. Then, they each sleep in their own room at night. Plus, Sandy gives the dogs some personal attention each day they stay there, and by the time I returned from my first trip, she and my dog had formed a tender friendship. He was scared the first time I left him, but Sandy actually sent me texts during my trip to update me on his status, and "Soon enough," she said, "he was walking around like he owned the place." He was happy and relatively calm when I picked him up.* When I brought him back shortly after, he was excited to return and ran right in. It's great to find a place he likes, where I can see he's enjoyed and cared for, and the prices are reasonable, especially compared to nickel-and-dime places like PetsMart. *When I've picked my dog up from PetsMart in the past, he's been excited and kind of manic, from all the loud barking and dogs locked in cages. It's such a nice difference to pick him up from Pedigree and see him happy from playing, but relaxed too.
