Carl's Jr.

As far as fast-food, burger joints, Carl's Jr. is pretty good. They offer 1/2 pound burgers! My spouse likes them. I prefer the grilled chicken, especially the "Sante Fe" which has a good, healthy, slab of chicken (unbattered, TY), big green chile, cheese, lettuce, and a sauce of some kind. In general, Carl's Jr. is much better than McDonald's, if only because the ingredients can be identified (e.g., ground beef). BIG PROBLEM: the drive-thru staff speak FASTER than any other business using speaker technology, including banks! Really. We request them to slow-down 3 or 4 times before they give-in to using a rate of speech comprehensible to the human sensorium. The orders are ALWAYS needing to be REordered 3 times at least. Very frustrating. What is the reason for such pressured speech? There were no cars behind us, that I could see. I have considered just allowing them to order for me. Really, I would like to take away another 1/2 star, it's THAT annoying. But we will be back.

The food is good in this location with friendly and helpful staff. This location is not in a great part of town so use caution when you visit. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

My son and I went there ...as usual they are very efficient and friendly :)
