We became modern furniture fans long before we could afford it.  We bought pieces from DWR in Seattle (circa 2097), and had great service.  We furnished a modern house in LA and the Melrose store was incredible ( we lived blocks away from the store and they would hand deliver items to see if it worked in our house).  Berkeley was a bit off... but I'll blame that on crazy times and the pandemic.  Then there is Paramus.....they are beyond awful.  We showed up at 11AM for them to open 25 minutes late... no acknowledgment or apology. They couldn't be bothered to order replacement sofa cushion fillers- for over 8 months. ( I ended up calling vendor directly- and received in 2 weeks). We ordered an expensive dining room table and chairs this past January.... The chairs came last week, 26 weeks - when quoted 12 weeks,  the table was scheduled for 18 weeks has just pushed to November or 12 additional weeks to the 7 weeks late it already is. All this was never communicated, I only know by going into my account.  Zero communication.  I'd complain to senior management- but they also don't return calls or emails, which is awkward because I know a few of them professionally. Most of the good stuff at DWR - the non private label - is available directly from vendors and will now exclusively use.  I'll still go to stores to showroom.
