I have never dealt with such a patronizing, rude, and all around unpleasant individual as Frank Borek. My fiancé and I met Frank as we were interested in renting a property he listed in Montclair. We arrived to the property, exchanged pleasantries, and looked around. After we explained that we were looking at multiple rentals, we talked to him about our financial situation. He proceeded to insult me about my chosen career path. twice. He was incredibly patronizing about the fact that I am currently in school and living on student loans--when I explained the situation he said "You're not getting any sympathy from me, sweetheart."
Despite his rude behavior, we thanked him and told him we were interested in the place, and that we'd be in touch.
We ended up signing a lease elsewhere, as it was a better fit for us. When he reached back out to see if we were still interested in the place, my fiancé thanked him but explained we had found a different place. His response: "Wow. you said you were interested in this unit." When we explained we were, but we just found something else, and thanked him AGAIN For his help, he replied "all your thanks won't pay my bills."
For someone who relies on building client rapport to conduct business, Frank Borek is incredibly rude.

Really enjoyed working with Frank Borek as the Broker manager Extremely knowledgeable, easy to get in touch with, and enthusiastic. I have been in the business 40 plus years and Frank is one of the best brokers I have dealt with.

This guy Jean-Michel Sery he deserves zero stars very unprofessional gettho . I reach out to him for a listing he had and that is off market and he started to threaten me and curse at me . I am also filling a complaint against him to the real estate commission. Avoid this guy !!!! Do not hire him to sell or purchase anything . He thought I was trying to cut him off on a deal , if a serious buyer and have a construction company I'm not a real estate agent . This is a very gettho don't even know how he has a licence .

The secretary who answered the phone was very brusk. She even hung up on me the first time I called, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and called again. Finally she told me an agent would contact me that evening. Sure enough, during dinner, an agent called me (I don't remember this agent's name). I told the agent that my fiancee and I were looking for an apartment with certain criteria and she said "Well I know of one, but it's several thousand dollars above your price range. You're not going to find a better one anywhere within fifty miles of here." So I told her I'd keep looking. She then lectured me on the state of the market and how I should settle for something else, all while I was trying to get back to dinner. As suspected, not even a week later, my fiancee and I found the perfect place that fits all our criteria very close by. I hate giving one-star reviews, but please save yourself some hassle and never call these people.

Frank Borek is a very nasty guy, not even competent enough to have a mature adult conversation. Says that his top producing agents can do whatever they want !!! Awful character, and approach to business. Ruined my whole outlook on real estate.
